About Swami Keshvanand Agriculture University
Swami Keshwanand Rajasthan Agricultural University (SKRAU), located in Bikaner, Rajasthan, is a prominent public institution dedicated to agricultural education, research, and extension services. Established on August 1, 1987, following its separation from Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur, it was renamed in 2009 to honor Swami Keshwanand, a revered freedom fighter and social reformer known for his contributions to education and rural development. SKRAU encompasses several constituent colleges, including the College of Agriculture, College of Community Science, and the Institute of Agribusiness Management, offering a range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs.
