Scholarship Exam Details

UGC NET (University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test) is a national-level exam conducted to determine eligibility for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Indian universities and colleges.

Students who qualify for JRF receive financial support for pursuing PhD.

🎯 Eligibility

  • Master’s degree with minimum required percentage

  • Age limit applies for JRF

💰 Fellowship Amount (JRF)

  • ₹31,000 per month (first 2 years)

  • ₹35,000 per month (after promotion to SRF)

  • Additional HRA as per rules

📝 Selection Process

  • Computer-based test

  • Two papers:

    • Paper 1: Teaching & Research Aptitude

    • Paper 2: Subject-specific paper

This is a competitive national-level exam.
