What is UPPSC PCS?

UPPSC PCS (also called UPPCS / UPPSC Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services) is a state-level competitive exam in Uttar Pradesh.

It recruits for various administrative, police, revenue, etc., posts in the state government (e.g. SDM, BDO, ASP, etc.).

Equivalent in many ways to UPSC Civil Services but limited to the state of Uttar Pradesh.
Eligibility
Criteria Detail Educational Qualification Must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. Age Limit Minimum 21 years; maximum 40 years for general category. Relaxations apply for SC/ST/OBC etc. Other Requirements For specific posts, there could be additional requirements (e.g. physical standards, subject-specific eligibility).

General Hindi: Grammar, comprehension, translation, essay possibly with topics in Hindi.
