What is the RBI Grade B Exam?

RBI Grade B is a prestigious recruitment exam conducted by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to recruit officers in Grade B (Officer) level in various departments such as General (DR), DEPR (Economic & Policy Research), DSIM (Statistics & Information Management) etc.

It is considered one of the toughest banking/finance exams in India because it demands both strong domain knowledge (economics, finance) and general aptitude/awareness.
To apply for RBI Grade B, a candidate must satisfy certain conditions:

It’s one of India’s most prestigious banking and finance exams and is conducted in three stages — Phase I, Phase II, and Interview.
