Judicial Services (PCS-J) is the examination conducted by State Public Service Commissions for recruitment of Civil Judge (Junior Division). It is one of the most prestigious legal careers in India, offering direct entry into the judiciary.

As a Civil Judge, you preside over:

  • Civil suits

  • Criminal cases (minor)

  • Family disputes

  • Property cases

  • Contractual disputes

The selection process is three-stage:

  1. Preliminary Examination (Objective)

  2. Mains Examination (Descriptive)

  3. Interview / Viva Voce
