UIIC AO (Generalist / Specialist)

Selection Process: Online objective exam → Descriptive Test → Interview.
Exam Pattern (Generalists):
- 200 questions, 250 marks, time = 150 minutes.
- Sections: Reasoning (50 Q), English (50 Q), Quantitative (40 Q), General Awareness – Financial (40 Q), Computer Knowledge (20 Q).
Exam Pattern (Specialists):
- Also 200 questions, 250 marks, 150 minutes.
- Additional section: Technical / Professional knowledge (60 Q for 120 marks) for the specialized discipline.
Descriptive Test: 30 minutes, 30 marks; consists of letter writing (10 marks) + essay (20 marks). Negative Marking: 0.25 mark for each wrong answer
Interview: Based on performance in written exam + descriptive test.

UIIC Assistant

Selection Process: Online Test → Regional Language Test.
Exam Pattern:
- 200 objective-type questions, 250 marks, 120 minutes.
- Sections: Reasoning (40), English (40), Numerical Ability (40), General Knowledge / Awareness (40), Computer Knowledge (40).
Negative Marking: 0.25 mark deduction for each wrong answer.
