Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT), located in Udaipur, Rajasthan, is a premier institution established in 1999 to advance education, research, and extension in agriculture and allied sciences. Named after the legendary Rajput warrior Maharana Pratap, the university serves the southern and southeastern regions of Rajasthan, including several tribal and rural districts. It comprises six constituent colleges offering undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs across disciplines such as agriculture, dairy technology, engineering, fisheries, and community sciences. With a strong emphasis on region-specific research and the transfer of technology to farmers, MPUAT is committed to improving agricultural productivity and the socio-economic well-being of local communities.
